YELP REVIEW  2014

Dr. Brown is impressive with his knowledge and treatment of our dogs.  What most impressed us was the very thorough check up of our dogs, and the advice and explanation on how to help care for them, and how to help them get better, and stay healthy.  The bill was comparable any other vet office, and fair.  

The charge for seeing a dog for the first time and a check up is just $30.
(----------) ANIMAL HOSPITAL did a good check up, and found out that one of our dogs had a very severe ear infection.  Dr. Brown did a great job of treating our dog, and despite having to clean out her sore hurt ear, she loved him.  Dr. Brown explained why or dog was sick, and how it happened as well as how to take care of our dog, what medicines were needed and how to apply, and went over the lab tests,  even showing us the infection under a microscope.  
We believe our bill was fair (although treating a sick dog costs a lot more than a regular check up).
 
The reason we went to (------------)  ANIMAL HOSPITAL is that we were tired of deal with the (......on  .............  Ave.)  We had both our dogs seen at (----) that morning for one of the first year shots and a check up.  The (---) staff and vets seem friendly, but lax and incompetent.  We had been using them for the first year of shots, which we paid for ahead of time, and check ups.  Without going into all of the details - I'll state a BIG one: NEVER CHECKED OUR DOGS EARS- after several repeated health check ups. If they had they should have spotted how very infected the inside of our dog's ear was. Anyhow (___) seemed to give quick, useless check ups by skipping big steps like looking in a dog's ear when giving an examination. (----) let  us down.

Writing this Yelp review because we are very glad that Dr. Brown found that our dog's ear had a yeast infection, that had spread and had also lead to a bacterial infection, that was deep within the ear's skin.  We thought we were being good pet parents, BUT we did not know how to check deep within a dog's ears.

Sorry to see that the other Yelp users left poor reviews, BUT those people sound undereducated, and they do not seem like the people who take their pets in to a vets for regular shots and visits, and only take their dogs in after they are very sick.  Know they love their pets, but it seems unrealistic for a vet to be able to fix a sick dog with serious advanced problems for free.

We recommend Dr. Brown.

These folks are so wonderful.  Michelle and Dr Brown planned and organized a class to teach the public about caring chickens.  There are not many Vet Clinics that will even see our chickens and this Vet office cares enough to do a whole class for us

They did this after hours on a Saturday for free.  Their commitment to community education is very impressive

If anyone is looking for a vet for their chickens or any other pets, I recommend trying out his office.

Dr. Brown and Josh were the best. Harley is usually so very anxious around men but was at ease after a few cuddles, treats and sweet talking ..... Dr Brown gave the most complete physical my fur babies have ever had. I highly recommend ♥️🐶
